Taking the hot air out of financial services...

Climate change is undoubtedly the most challenging issue facing the human race. We can't stop the world from warming up, but we can control to what extent it does by changing our attitude towards carbon emmissions.

At y3s we are taking carbon reduction very seriously. Over the last 2 years, we have invested £100,000 making a number of changes in our bid to become carbon neutral:

  • All our electricity requirements is produced from wind power and other renewables
  • Air conditioning has replaced our gas central heating system
  • All company cars are diesel powered, and their carbon emissions are offset
  • Photocopiers and printers use only recycled materials
  • 80% of office waste is sorted into plastic, cans, cardboard and paper for recycling
  • Our letterheads, compliment slips, business cards, brochures and folders are printed on recycled paper
  • Whenever possible we use email and electronic brochures and issuing packs to cut down on paper usage
